Pike Fly Fishing guided services

Pike fly fishing is a thrilling angling pursuit that involves using specialised flies to catch northern pike, a predatory freshwater fish known for its aggressive strikes and formidable fighting ability.

Anglers typically employ large, brightly coloured flies on heavy-duty tackle to entice these powerful predators, often targeting them in shallow waters or near submerged structure.

Guiding services offered.

I offer an enjoyable pike fly fishing experience across the scenic waters of the United Kingdom. Embark on a journey with me for personalised trips spanning from 1 to 3 days, exploring a diverse array of fishing locales.

With authorised guiding privileges at Chew Valley Lake in Somerset, Trawsfyndd Reservoir in North Wales, and Rutland Reservoir in the East Midlands, rest assured that you will be traversing prime fishing territory. Additionally, I am more than willing to accommodate requests for guidance at any water source accessible to clients, ensuring a tailored and comprehensive fishing experience.

Irrespective of your proficiency level, whether you are a novice or a seasoned angler, my services are designed to meet your needs. While prior casting experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory as I provide comprehensive instruction to enhance your skills.

During our excursion, the decision as to whether I actively participate in fishing alongside you or assume a primarily instructional role rests entirely with you. I must emphasize that observing the guide in action can offer invaluable learning opportunities in addition to your own angling endeavours.

Prices and terms and conditions.

The coaching guiding fee stands at £300 per person per day. This package encompasses all necessary day tickets and fishing gear, ensuring a hassle-free experience for those lacking equipment.

While I’m keen to get out on the water at your earliest convenience, the starting time is entirely flexible, tailored to your preferences.

While the conclusion of our fishing excursion is flexible, we aim for a reasonable conclusion that ensures a fulfilling experience for all involved.

Payment in full is required 14 days prior to the scheduled trip.

For Rutland bookings, a deposit is essential as reservations are now exclusively online and must be secured well in advance.

Please note that life jackets are mandatory at all boat docks and on boats. If necessary, these can be provided by the fishery on the day of our outing.

In the event of adverse weather conditions, such as water temperatures being too hot, the fishery retains the right to cancel any fishing at their discretion. In such cases, I will endeavour to rearrange the trip it to accommodate your schedule, and at the availability/discretion of the fishery.

Refunds within the 14-day period prior to the trip will only be issued under exceptional circumstances.

All bookings will be confirmed via email, accompanied by any additional details and requirements pertinent to your trip.
